Resident sessions and reserving a court

King’s College is resident-only Monday and Thursday 5-9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m.-noon. Players may need proof of Richmond Hill residence during those sessions. Those rules do not create a citywide resident-only restriction.

Bayview Hill court 4 can be booked in one-hour blocks, noon-9 p.m.; courts 1-3 remain drop-in. ActiveRH permits open two weeks ahead for residents and one week ahead for non-residents. Permits are non-refundable even for bad weather.

Fair outdoor and indoor play

Warm-up is limited to three minutes. Outdoor games finish at 11, without a tiebreaker. If no game is underway, the maximum court stay is 15 minutes. Use the paddle rack or line, announce scores, and wait outside the fence.

Indoor sessions use staff-assigned courts and a different normal scoring cap of 9. Sunday indoor sessions are skill-specific, and players should register only for the appropriate one. A ball entering another court means stop play and replay the affected point.
