The new Vice President, Sales will build on this momentum by aligning the sales organization with Veradek’s growth priorities and further strengthening its customer-focused culture.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Sales will own the retail growth agenda and serve as a key member of the leadership team. This sales leader will deepen strategic account relationships, identify and develop new channels, translate customer and market insights into product opportunities, and build the capabilities required to scale. The Vice President, Sales will work cross functionally with the product, finance and operational teams and lead and develop the sales team, providing clear direction, commercial discipline, and strong executive mentorship.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive sales and business development experience, including leadership at the senior leadership level.
- A demonstrated record of accelerating growth in home goods, outdoor products, durable consumer goods, or adjacent categories, ideally within a manufacturer or importer.
- Experience managing and growing relationships with major North American retailers such as Walmart, Home Depot, and Costco. Exposure to specialty retail, distribution, or other underdeveloped channels across North America would be an asset.
- The ability to translate customer and market insights into product development priorities and new commercial opportunities.
- Strong design sensibility, commercial judgment, and awareness of evolving consumer and category trends.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and the executive presence to influence across the organization. The ideal candidate will be curious, pragmatic, and collaborative, a clear and persuasive communicator who builds trust, develops talent, and inspires high performance.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished commercial leader to shape strategy, accelerate growth, and build enduring customer partnerships within an innovative Canadian organization. We welcome expressions of interest from qualified candidates.
