Role Description The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, and patient education on oral health. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, performing scaling and root planing, taking and documenting clinical measurements. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and contributing to a welcoming, patient-centered environment. This is a part-time, on-site role located in North York, ON.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in Dentistry and Dental Care.
- Proficiency in Hygiene procedures and Dental Prophylaxis.
- Experience assessing, managing, and educating patients about Periodontal Disease.
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Ontario and in good standing with the regulatory body.
- Commitment to infection control standards and use of current dental technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small clinical team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in cosmetic or restorative dental settings is an asset.
- Open to work on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
