Role Overview
Leads and performs quality assurance and testing for enterprise platform features, integrations, releases, and onboarded services. The role develops risk-based test strategies, plans, scenarios, scripts, data, automation, traceability, quality metrics, and completion reporting across functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, performance, security, API, database, and user acceptance testing.
Working collaboratively with product teams, analysts, architects, developers, DevOps engineers, security specialists, business representatives, and stakeholders, the Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist coordinates environments and test readiness, identifies and manages defects, and verifies that approved requirements and quality criteria have been met.
The role provides evidence-based release readiness assessments, communicates residual risks, and helps establish repeatable testing practices and automation that improve coverage, reliability, delivery speed, and confidence in enterprise platform releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead
and perform testing activities across enterprise platform capabilities and
integrations.
- Define
and maintain test strategies, plans, schedules, scenarios, scripts, test
data, and reporting.
- Execute
manual and automated testing across multiple testing disciplines.
- Develop
and maintain UI, API, service, and database test automation where
appropriate.
- Coordinate
test environments, accounts, tools, test data, and supporting resources.
- Maintain
requirements traceability and test coverage reporting.
- Lead
defect triage and monitor defects through resolution and closure.
- Validate
accessibility, security, performance, reliability, and integration
requirements.
- Report
quality indicators, testing progress, outstanding defects, and release
risks.
- Provide
evidence-based recommendations on production readiness.
Experience Requirements
- Experience
testing large, complex digital platforms, enterprise applications, or
public-facing services.
- Experience
developing test strategies, plans, scenarios, scripts, procedures, test
data, and completion reports.
- Experience
conducting functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility,
performance, security, API, database, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience
designing and maintaining automated tests for user interfaces, APIs,
services, and data components.
- Experience
testing cloud-based microservices, distributed applications, and
integrations across multiple systems.
- Experience
establishing test environments, test accounts, test data, entry and exit
criteria, and schedules.
- Experience
managing defects through identification, triage, prioritization,
resolution, retesting, and closure.
- Experience
maintaining requirements traceability, coverage reporting, dashboards, and
quality metrics.
- Experience
assessing release readiness and communicating residual quality risks.
Skills & Qualifications
Testing Strategy and Execution (35%)

Mandatory Requirements
- Experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous
public sector experience.
Work Arrangement
- 5
days onsite in Toronto, Ontario.
