The team at Queen Street Dental Centre located in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant Level II on a part-time basis.
The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
We are a busy, multi-disciplinary, general and specialist office located on Queen Street East in the Leslieville neighborhood of Toronto. Join our wonderful, friendly and talented team at QSDC!
You will be primarily responsible for:
- Instrument reprocessing using SterilWize scanning system
- Room cleaning and turnover
- Chairside assisting qualifications would be an asset, as we may need a backup on occasion.
Although this is a mat leave backfill position, we anticipate that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend to a permanent position, if desired.

SCHEDULE:
- 29+ Hours per week
- Monday 3PM-8PM
- Tuesday 10AM-3:00PM
- Alternating Wednesday 2PM-8PM
- Thursday 3PM-8PM
- Saturday 8AM-3PM
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Level II
- Registered or in process of registering with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association
- New graduates welcome
- We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
- 0 year of experience is required
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Abeldent LS+ is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Customer service mindset
